My “baby” – chocolate chip cookies!
A nice refreshing pick me up with a ginger citrus like zing. Very healthy, provides lots of antioxidants and omegas!
This is an adaptation of my favorite cooked chai recipe from The Ayurvedic Cookbook by Amadea Morningstar. I fell in love with this chai from the first time I made it and now those chai drinks from the coffee shops just don’t cut it!! I just tried this raw version for the first time this morning and I could have finished the whole thing off straight from the blender!!! It takes longer to make because the mint needs to be soaked in the water like a sun tea but it is definitely worth it! I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
Combine all into FoodProcessor until smooth.
so i saw the recipe for sweetpeas crunch cookies here on the site and got my heirloom peanuts the other day and wanted to practice with making my own nut butters….guess what happened? PEANUT BUTTER CRUNCH COOKIES!
For those who love hemp and for those you would like a super healthy nutritious snack!

It was just warm to the touch, not hot at all. Finally, I made it again this week and took a better picture
This recipe is basically the lemon cookie recipe except for the lemon zest I use orange zest and a little orange juice and add a couple tablespoons cacao…
Who knew you can make something that so resembles the classic? And without the use of nut milk too! And yet, the first time I tasted this with cinnamon, I thought, “Hmmm… tastes like Christmas.” And my grandmother said, “Hmmm… if a person didn’t know better, they would think this is watered down cow milk.” To which I replied, “Like skim milk?!”
