Spicy, Salty, Sweet…this can be used in salad as a dressing, on rawsta pasta as a spicy creamy sauce, on tomatoes just for fun, with cucumbers cuz they’re so cool or as dip with dino kale
**Yummy addition: raw tahini. a tbls or two, especially if you want to use it as dip or dressing.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce cilantro, washed
- 4 tablespoons lime juice, de-seeded
- ½ jalapeno pepper (oo spicy!), de-seeded
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1½ cups raw cashews
- pinch black pepper
- 2 teaspoons raw honey
Preparation
Combine all green ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend with sprinkles of water until slightly juicy. Add remaining ingredients slowly, continually adding sprinkles of water until creamy and blended, being sure not to add too much water. Add cayenne, salt, honey to taste.

I looks great, but did you mean 4.5 cups cashews, or 1.5 cups? I’m guessing 1.5 cups given the rest of the ingredients.

I just made this to go with my lunch. Instead of the 1.5 cups whole raw cashews, I used 3/4 cup Artisana raw cashew butter as it is available at my health food store and the raw cashews I have to order online and are very expensive. I also only used 1/4 of a jalepeno because i’m a wimp. I love it! I put it on some zucchini noodles with quartered cherry tomatoes and scallions. T’was delish.

I just made it tonight as a dressing for my salad, and it turned out great! I didn’t have any cilantro, so I used parsley. Also, I used cayenne instead of jalapeno. I’ll have to figure out a cashew curry sauce someday (goes really well with kimchi)! :)
