makes 16, 2"x2" bars

!!NO DEHYDRATOR NEEDED!! These bars are sweetener free – they’re kindof like a Larabar. Just fruit and nuts!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • ½ cup sesame seeds
  • 1½ cups dates, pitted
  • 1½ cups raisins
  • ⅛ teaspoon sea salt

Preparation

  1. Pulse all ingredients in food processor until mixture holds together when pressed.
  2. Press mixture into 9inch square pan, and chill. Cut into squares to serve.

These look great, thanks. I will have to make bars as I always make little balls and sometimes just changing the shape of food makes a big difference to the experience of eating it!

Thanks Khaas! I’m trying these tomorrow. One question, how long do these last outside the fridge? I’m planning a trip, and would love to take these with me. It seems like a “How many licks does it take to get to the center” sort of question though!!

I don’t know – I always keep my bars in the fridge! I would guess maybe 3-4 days since all of the ingredients are at room temp already? Good luck and enjoy your trip!
