Banana Milkshake (with Green option)
1 nice-sized shake
Nothing too unique…just really yummy!
Ingredients
- 1 handful of walnuts
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds (optional)
- 1 cup water
- 1 banana, can be frozen but not necessary
- 1 juicy date (you know what I mean...a real date)
- 2 drops vanilla (alcohol free is best)
- maple syrup (optional, not raw)
- TO MAKE INTO A GREEN SMOOTHIE:
- ADD A HANDFUL OR 2 OF SPINACH, ...adds no flavor but makes it GREEN and healthy!
Preparation
Blend! Drink!

Sounds unique to me! I bet the walnuts and hemp seeds add great flavor to this..especially complimented with maple syrup! yum! I’ll be trying this one!

Sounds great. You can use Yacon syrup in place of the maple syrup….and a real vanilla bean. I will try this today!!!

I just love this recipe. I haven’t used the hemp seeds or spinach, but I used all the other ingredients. I substituted maple syrup with raw honey. The colder it is, the better – it tasts like a read milk shake. I recommend blending the walnuts and water first, then straining it with a nut milk bag. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend.
