Herbed Vinaigrette
Makes 2 cups
This beautiful dressing will make you crave salad. Even my kids ask for it! All credit goes to Wendy Rudell and her book Raw Transformation. I always use fresh basil and cut the garlic in half to taste. When out of honey we have used agave nectar or a single date and it’s just as delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup lemon juice or Apple Cider Vinegar
- ¼ cup Flax seed oil
- 1 tablespoon really raw honey
- 1 teaspoon mustard seed, ground
- ½ teaspoon celtic sea salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- ¼ teaspoon jalapeno
- 1 tablespoon mixed dried herbs-parsley, basil, dill
Preparation
Blend all ingredients together. Increasing the blending speed and time will make a creamier dressing. If you are adding fresh herbs the blending will turn it all a beautiful light shade of green.
