Filling Berry Smoothie
Serves 2 or 1 hungry person
This is so refreshing, I made it ;last night when I had nothing else to eat. You’ll probablt going to eat all of it!
Ingredients
- 1 cup golden flax seeds, soaked overnight
- 1½ cups mixed frozen berries
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or raw agave nectar
Preparation
Blend the soaked flax seeds in a vita-mix until it is a smooth dough (shouldn’t be too thick). Once totally smooth, add the frozen berries. After you finish blending the berries in, it should liquify a bit as the berries will digest the flax. Add the sweetener and finish the blending. Pour into two cups and enjoy!
