Very yummy! A dessert you can eat for breakfast!
Ingredients
- 1 cup nut mylk
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar, maple syrup, or yacon root syrup
- dash vanilla
- dash cardamon
Preparation
Mix together all ingredients and let sit for about 10mins until the chia expands. Stir occasionally. Add more chia seeds if you want a thicker pudding.

I’ve always suspected this but are chia seeds the same thing used for ch-ch-ch-chia pets? (smile)

FABULOUS! We just ate it for dinner. I make instant nut mylk with nut butter, water, a mason jar and some shaking. This will be an awesome camping food as well – quick, simple, filling and VERY DELICIOUS – a treat to look forward to. Thank you so much!!!

I made this for breakfast today. It’s more like tapioca than rice pudding, which is much more to my liking. Great, simple idea.

chia seeds sound a lot like the same consistency of tapioca pudding.I’ve never had chia seeds before (and plenty of tapioca pudding) could someone comment on this?

Raw_chocoholic i noticed you are from vancouver, bc. Me too. Can you get these locally (what stores have them?) or do you order them online?

I make this all the time now! I sometimes add grated coconut (coco-chia pudding) or cacao powder for a chocolate version. Golden raisins are a good add-in too.
