Pizza Cheese
I’ve taken to using my cultured Real Cream Cheese for my pizzas – which, I know, is odd, but strangely perfect to the taste. However if the idea of using a cultured nut cheese is too odd for you, feel free to use this recipe instead.
Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds, soaked
- 2 teaspoons tahini
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon gf tamari or nama shoyu
Preparation
Blend together the almonds, tahini, lemon, and nama shoyu until smooth. Let sit in the fridge overnight.

i made this cheese for my pizza last night and i can’t tell you how awesome it was! i loved it… there was a certain tartness that complemented my pizza perfectly!
