Great, easy, versatile granola.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup +/- agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon oil of choice
  • choice flavors**
  • 3 cups sprouted buckwheat, Soak 6 hours, sprout 2-3 days, until they get little tails.
  • ¾ cup raw wheat germ
  • add-ins of choice*

Preparation

Mix agave, oil, and flavors of choice in large bowl.

Add wheat germ and sprouted buckwheat to bowl and stir well making sure everything is coated well.

Spread onto solid dehydrator sheets and dehydrate 3-5 hours depending on how soft or crunchy you want it.

add ins: any nuts and/or fruits. And anything else you can think of.

*Flavor ideas: cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa powder, grated ginger, orange/lime/lemon zest, etc.

One more side note: Way to tell if buckwheat you are buying is raw- raw is greenish light brown, cooked is darker brown with no green at all.

Smoothielove, I was going to tell you I posted sprouting instructions, but I see you found them. You don’t have to dehydrate them (i ate some before i dehydrated them) but you can use your oven as a dehydrator set on the lowest temperature with the door open. If you want it to be raw you have to make sure the temp never goes about 120 degrees. Hope that helps.
