Banana Bliss Balls
8 large balls or 16 small
These delicious light and fluffy balls are really great if you are after a nice treat that is not so heavy as they don’t have any dried fruit, you could make them even lighter by replacing the ground nut/seeds with another cup of buckwheat flour. They look good made into big balls!!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Mixed nuts - almond, brazil, walnut, pepita, flax, Or just one or two!
- 1 cup Dry grated coconut, unsweetened.
- 2 Large bananas
- 5 tablespoons Agave or sweetener choice
- 1 teaspoon Ground vanilla bean, Grind in a coffee grinder
- 1 cup Raw sprouted buckwheat flour
- Coconut for rolling balls in
Preparation
Add nuts to a food processor and ground until fine; add coconut, bananas, agave and vanilla and process until smooth. Then add buckwheat flour slowly through the chute until it thickens.
Take a handful of the mix and roll it into a ball then roll it in desiccated coconut repeating until you have used all of the mix. Put in the fridge or freezer.

Mmm I bought some thing like this from whole foods the other day! I bought two different kinds actually one was called banana balls and the other snow balls. They were both all raw and both cost a lot haha! But now I can make my own, thanks so much! Oh and your recipe sounds like a combo of the two a bought at whole foods execpt neither of theirs had flour which I might have to skip out on too as I dont have any.

Can’t wait to try them! I just have to figure out the buckwheat flower.

Oh I didn’t make the recipe or the flour, KarenK did. Maybe she put the sprouted buckwheat in the food processor? But I don’t konw I was going to try to make them without the flour and just decrease the amount of agave.

Or maybe add some raisins too that might help bind stuff, but again i dont know haha

Sorry! should have got back to you earlier, yes the buckwheat flour is just sprouted buckwheat that has been dehydrated and ground up in the blender. You will need to dehydrate as just using wet sprouted buckwheat would be way to soggy. You could double the amount of ground nuts and seeds instead of using the flour as once they are ground they are like flour anyway. They will be a bit heavier though.
