Recipe Directions

PANCAKE:

1. Blend the bananas and form 4 big pancakes on Teflex sheets.

2. Dehydrate at 105 Fahrenheit till soft but pliable. This may take 12-16 hours.

3. You may flip them at the end and dehydrate for another 2 hours on the mesh screen.

4. For the chocolate cream, blend the avocados, cacao or carob, cashews, and honey with enough water to reach a creamy, but not runny, consistency.

5. For the strawberry sauce, blend 6 strawberries with 3-4 tablespoons water to make the sauce.

6. Distribute the chocolate cream equally on the 4 pancakes. Chop the remaining 4 strawberries and put on top of the cream.

7. Roll up the pancakes and pour the strawberry sauce over them. Enjoy!

This was my first attempt at making fruit leather.

So delicious!

What I still need to work on is the chewiness of the leather because when it becomes hard enough to turn, part of it is already a bit too chewy. I guess I need to play with the temperature. If anyone has ideas, please let me know

I had great luck making soft chewy rollups that can be used for crepes with bananas and peaches with a hint of lemon. Yum. It does take super long to dehdyrate with Excalibur but it worked recently when I made some before seeing this recipe.

Saw a Cashew Cream recipe by Yuri at www.youtube.com. Search Yuri raw. YUM: cashews, dates, vanilla liquid, waer, and then the fruits. Pour this cream on top of fruit. See short video for details.

My family loved this and they are NOT raw foodies.

Sweet! I was wondering if someone had already tried to make a raw version of Fruit Leather. I used to eat that stuff all the time.
