Soft Serve Chocolate Ice Cream
This recipe really surprised me. It came out super thick and rich without being too strong of one flavor. I was definately craving my boyfriend’s box of Reese’s Puffs and after making this, I have absolutely no clue what I was thinking! Don’t be naughty and eat unraw! Eat this instead!
3 Frozen Bananas
1 cup Cold Water
2 tablespoon Agave
2 tablespoon
Cocoa
2 teaspoon Vanilla
Easy-peasy.
Peal the bananas (it’s finally getting warmer up here in Tacoma, WA, so I sat outside in the sun and used a knife and the sun’s heat to get these babies pealed) and break them into chunks before putting them in a blender.
Put it all in a blender. Blend (duh) and pour into ice cream maker.
I topped mine with coconut flakes and caoco nibs. Mint is totally optional, but sounds nice, doesn’t it? Mint and chocolate?
- It shouldn’t take more than half hour to make this. Of course, I was side-tracked by making salsa and my books…ENJOY!

Hey Lovin' My Sunshine, I am glad you overcame your craving for Reese's Puffs by making something ten times better. Although I did post an idea for making raw Reese's Puff cereal and would be curious if you like it.

I made this tonight with the following variations, i used 1/2 c organic coconut milk, 1/4 avo (leftover) and put it all in the food processor (ohh, didn't have agave so used honey) chopped some macadamias and it was just divine!

If you have a champion or green star juicer you can put the bananas through it and get a pretty firm ice cream easily.
I like to mix mine with some kale juice sometimes (sorry to be a nerd, haha) it's very energizing!

I always peel my bananas before freezing them - stick them in a container or freezer baggy for quick treats!
