smoothie of the Gods

one amazing smoothieSince my local healthfood store finally got a shipment of young conconuts that weren’t spoiled I thought it deserved its own recipe. I love smoothies and I’m always looking for new flavors. I think young coconut water tastes heavenly so I knew I had to make a smoothie with it.
Ingredients:
1 cup young coconut water
1 large frozen banana
handfull of fresh berries
Preparation:
Put young coconut’s water, banana, and berries in a blender or food processor for about 1 minute.

When I get a high-speed blender I will be adding greens. Yum!

Oooh. This looks so yummy. I have some acai in the freezer. Definitely God-quality.

This is awesome! Coconut water is excellent for hydration. I have also tried it without the berries but with a couple of handfuls of spinach and 2 celery stalks (to get my veggies) and some stevia (so it doesn't taste TOO green). Love it! Thank you Allison!
