You dont need to dehydrate these.!
I just whip it up together and eat them like cookie dough or jus warm it in dehydrator

Ingredients:

2 Cups cashew powder
1/2 cup agave
1/4 cup raw cacao butter, melted-- (may use more if you want your cookies much more moist)
1/2 cup chocoloate chips or cacao nibs
(pinch of salt, optional)

If you dont have cashew powder, then you must make cashew milk by blending maybe two cups cashew and about 3 cups water then strain it. Take the pulp and dehydrate overnight on a teflex sheet (i just put it on the mesh screen, the "milk" may leak but you can put the teflex sheet on the bottom so it does not make your dehydrator two messy:^). it will get hard and then you can crumble it up when it is completely dry, making it into a powder consistency

For chocoloate chips you can mix 1/4 cup cacao powder, agave (sweeten until your liking, 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional) i never add it. but it holds the chip chips together. Freeze overnight.

By hand, mix the first 2 ingredients together first and once somewhat softened, add raw cacao butter. Then fold in chocoloate chips.form into cookies or you can roll them into balls or whatever shape you like.

I made these last night and they were YUMMY!!!. I made the cashew powder myself - but note that if you process the cashew beyond a certain point it turns into little doughy clumps that stick together. The consistency after mixed with the other ingredients is still JUST like cookie dough - you just need to stir a little more. I also replace the agave with 4-5 dates soaked in water for 45 minutes. I pitted the dates and threw them in the food processor with 1/4 cup of the soak water to make a date syrup. I also stuck to the caocao nibs to keep it raw and took the pinch of salt suggestion. These are great!! My omnivore husband liked them very much as well and he was happy he now can eat raw cookie dough without getting yelled at LOL.

3. Cashew powder is basically

Cashew powder is basically grinded cashew. It comes out almost looking like flour. I have never tried to grind them myself in a food processer becasue i think it would just come out into little cashew pieces. I usually just buy them on a site called nutsonline that sells it and sells a lot of raw nuts for a pretty good price. You can check it out>! its a good site for buying raw nuts and is where i buy my things usually. (it ships quick 2)

I've done the same thing with coconut oil instead of cacao butter--as long as it's not too cold, you don't need to melt it first. I also recommend adding a pinch of salt. This makes an awesome cookie dough.

Next time I'll try it with cacao butter--thanks for the recipe!
