This recipe is based on a recipe by Shazzie. It's very simple and very filling. Shazzie suggests 1 diced onion, but I found the onion unpalatable. She also includes mint as a suggestion along with the oregano and basil, but I didn't like that either so my recipe doesn't include it. This is wonderful because it's so flavorful that it really doesn't require a dressing. Another plus is that all of the ingredients can be found at conventional grocery stores, which is nice when you live in the deep south middle-of-nowhere.
