Servings:
1 pitcherI heard about this from our local CSA—it is a lovely, simple idea that I’m excited to try. I also found it on a great recipe site (www.recipezaar.com) that I used to love before going raw. I’ve included it because they added the lemon and because they do have some raw recipes and instructions for making staples (ie spice mixtures). My new favorite site is now of course, Gone Raw, so I’m happy to contribute this here!
Ingredients:
4 cup filtered water
2 slice fresh cucumber
2 slice fresh lemon
Preparation:
Place all the ingredients into a pitcher and serve!
For a stronger taste, let the water sit in your refrigerator for an hour prior to serving.

I juice one cucumber ( makes a whole pint of juice!!) and two stalks of celery together, it is gorgous. As it is green I wonder if it counts as a green drink, although there are no green leaves in it?
