Quick Nutty Sweet Celery Sticks
Looking for a quick, sweet, and filling snack?? New to raw and don’t have many tools or skills? Try these easy celery sticks filled with tahini and dates. Can also be made on cucumbers and you can also use nut butter or nut/seed cheese instead of the tahini. Very filling! I’ve even eaten these for a quick lunch.
3 or 4 celery sticks , cut in half lengthwise
3 or 4 medjol dates (or dates of your choice), sliced and pitted
raw sesami
tahini
So easy,,feel stupid writing this :)
Cut celery in half lengthwise
Fill each piece of celery with tahini (or nut butter)
Slice dates, remove pit and put slices in a
row on top of the tahini.
Enjoy!
My camera is not working so I will post a pic soon…this darn thing doesn’t let you post a recipe without a pic. Trust me, they are yummy!

1. I have celery and dates
I have celery and dates together, cucumbers and dates together, and dates stuffed with tahini but combining the three sounds heavenly! I am looking forward to trying this.
2. I've been making a variation
I've been making a variation of this same thing...

Oooh, this loooks good, used to realy like celery with cream cheese down the middle, never tried it with nut butter / tahini type things. will do now tho. Thank you :-)
With the cream cheese a sprinkle of paprika use to set it off realy well, might also work well with the nut butters.

i hate celery but need to try this. i spent an entire week once in the mountains just sitting on the floor dipping coconuts in nut butter, sprinkling coconut and cinnamon and cocoa on 'em and eating my little contented heart out. so dates with anything have to be good. :D

This is one of my favorite meals, with various seed cheeses and nut butters. I sprinkle sesame seeds on top and call it nits on a log. Use black seeds and call it gnats on a log.
It's so good I got my omnivore bf hooked on it and he made it for HIMSELF to take to work for lunch! While I was out of town!
Thanks for posting this yummy recipe.
