Recipe Directions

Process until smooth in food processor. You might need to add water if it's too thick if you didn't add a lot of oil. It will thicken in the fridge, too.

Mr. Mickmaster's Thoughts

By Mr. Mickmaster

Haven't made a raw hummus I liked until now. Wanted something with the texture of traditional hummus, but raw and exotic. And did it work!

Nice speckled green and red color. Enjoy as a veggie dip or with organic apple slices! Yes!

This looks delicious. Do you soak the pistachios before making the recipe?

I can't wait to try this, it looks awesome! I have been searching for a raw dish to make with pistachios for ages.

Aubbie, No I didn't. I guess I could try that and it would still turn out, 'cause when I used to make hummus with canned garbanzos, they were a bit soft from being in liquid. Ya know what I mean?
