Pecan Pie Bites

Servings:
3-6 servingsThis is so easy and tastes exactly like a bite of pecan pie. My family loves to make holiday treat plates to give as gifts to friends and neighbors each year and these are definitely going on the plates! What an easy way to show our friends and neighbors just how simple and easy delicious raw treats can be.
This recipe makes 6 but the picture only shows 5 – any guesses where the 6th one went? Sorry, I couldn’t wait ;)
Ingredients:
6 Dates, Pitted
6 Pecan Halves
dash Cinnamon, Optional
Preparation:
If your dates aren’t already pitted, remove the pit. Stuff a pecan half in each date and you’re done. You can add a sprikle of cinnamon to the pecans before stuffing them in the dates if you like.

justbeautiful - yes, if your dates are hollow that means they have already been pitted :)
3.
How do you pit dates? The dates I get are dried and hallow inside, does that mean they are pitted?

What a great holiday appetizer or a private stash for mom...either way I'm there with the raw chocolate!

I make these all the time as a quick snack! They are a yummy little treat that I make to sometimes tie me over to dinner or lunch.

I'm going to make these again but next time I'll dip the ends in raw chocolate to make turtles!!!! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. I'll post photos of the turtles when I get them made.
