Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich
This is the most delicious and heathiest peanut butter and banana sandwich I have ever made! This is sure to become one of your favorites.
½ cup ground flax seeds
½ cup raisins or dates
½
banana
½ cup water
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch salt
½ banana
1 tablespoon almond butter
Blend the first seven ingredients in a food processor until smooth. You may need to add more water, but make sure it isn’t runny. It should still be somewhat thick. Make sure the seasonings are how you like them. Then spread it out on a non-stick dehydrator sheet and form the batter into 4 squares about the same size as a slice of bread. Dehydrate at 105 degrees farenheight for 8 hours. I make mine still a little gooey. It’s so good. Then take 1-2 TB of almond butter and spread it on one side the the bread. Put half a banana on the other. Put together and enjoy!

I made this bread yesterday and it was fantastic. I love the chewy texture!

I had just about given up hope for a nice soft raw bread. This is excellent!! I am going to try the same basic recipe and use avocado instead of banana and add some spice to see if I can make a savory bread.

I think I'm going to make this for breakfast. I don't have any almond butter, so I think I will my Artisana Coconut Butter. So I guess it will be a coconut butter and banana sandwich! :)

Sounds fantastic, I've never tried using banana in a bread, I will have to try it, thanks.
