Orange Chia Fresca

Orange Chia Fresca

A delicious citrus variation of the traditional chia fresca. I love making these energizing chia drinks, these little tiny seeds pack huge energy to power you through the day. This is a great morning beverage.

Ingredients: 

* 1 Tbs. chia seeds
* 8 oz. water
* 1 valencia orange
* 1 tsp. agave nectar

Preparation: 

1. Add the chia seeds to the water, let sit for 10 minutes or more.
2. Juice the orange, add the fresh squeezed juice to the chia gel.
3. Add the agave.
4. Serve with a spoon or straw for stirring while you drink.
5. Enjoy!

wow, i made this in the morning and had it before lunch today-how refreshing! thanks so much. why didn't i think of this before? can't wait ti have it all the time, and with lemon or lime too! probably great after workouts...

i cannot wait to try this! it looks like this cool soda called orbit that came out a few years ago, i loved the suspend little colored particles, but never drank it (of course). always thinking of ways to use chia. thanks!!
