Orange Barley Cookies.

Orange Barley Cookies.

These are my daughters favourate.

Ingredients: 

1½ cup Barley, Soaked overnight.
One orange
1 teaspoon Orange zest
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup Dates
.33 cup water
1 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation: 

Put all in blender and mix thoroughly.

Place batter on teflex or solid sheet. Dehydrate for appoximately 8-10 hours.
Turn cookies after 4 hours.

Sounds nice, but soaked barely gives me gas!

I used to have a dehydrator like yours, I highly recomend an Excaliber, they are way more efficient!

These look good. I wonder if I could add a bit more barely and a bit less nuts & dates to make it a little more friendly for my tummy :-)
