I like to eat this for breakfast when the weather cools down. It may be misleading to call this oatmeal but, for me, it has the same warm and comforting flavor.

Ingredients:

3 bananas, sliced
handful of pecans or walnuts, chopped
small handful of dried coconut
sprinkle of cinnamon, to taste
tiny squeeze of agave nectar (optional, I just use it to get things to stick together)

Preparation:

Mix in a bowl and enjoy!

this looks great. i learned from sproutpeople.com about sprouting buckwheat! YUM. i have a cup of sprouted buckwheat (sprouts in 24 hours) with half a banana, berries (fresh or frozen and thawed) soaked slivered almonds, chopped dates (2) and i top it all with my homemade hemp milk. this is one of my favorite breakfasts ever. and the protein from the hemp milk and buckwheat. so good. this is my "cereal".

Sounds totally yummy! One thing though, I learned the hard way- don't eat it every day!:) I used to eat too many bananas and it really affected my blood sugar badly after a while. This sounds divine though!:)

I was so excited to read this-- I am missing oatmeal like crazy since I started raw and cannot wait to try this for breakfast! Thanks for the recipe!

I use orange juice instead of agave, that is sweet enough for me.

ooooooh, I will certainly be trying this! I'm so happy it's a gluten-free recipe, something that I need...
