This is an extremely customizable smoothie, so just use ingredients to taste. This is just what I found to be perfect measurements for myself, since I like spicy and rich things.
1/4 Cup Cashews, soaked overnight then drained
1 Cup Water
1 Banana, Frozen and Chunked
1 Heaping TBSP Cacao Powder
1/2 - 1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 - 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Optional - 1 Date, for sweetness
Optional - 1 TBSP Cashew Butter, Coconut Butter, Almond Butter, etc.
Optional - Raw Cacao Nibs, for garnish
Soak Cashews overnight, then drain. Transfer to a blender with 1 Cup Water. Blend until smooth.
Now, add the ingredients in this order: Banana, Date (if using), Nut Butter (if using), Cacao Powder, cinnamon, cayenne pepper. Blend until to the consistency you like.
Garnish with raw Cacao Nibs if you wish.
