My lavender has just come into bloom and I couldn’t wait to use it! This was a lovely dessert but would also make a great breakfast. I like it quite sweet, but you can skip the dates, if you like.

Recipe Directions

1. Throw everything into a high speed blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Garnish with a lavender blossom, if you like.

I planted lavender two months ago but the flowers aren't growing. :( it's just leaves.

gorawmom - we LOVE eating flowers, especially lavender in puddings or cookies or a sweet bread. If you have any daylilies you can try putting a spread or nut cheese on the petals, or you can throw nasturtium blossoms on a salad for beautiful color and a peppery taste. So glad it's summer. Just make sure they're organic.
