Makes about 32 ouncesThis is me cleaning out the fridge on shopping day. It’s not very sweet… if you like your green smoothies sweeter you could add some agave or your sweetener of choice… maybe apple or pineapple juice instead of the water?
Ingredients:
2 apples, cored & chopped
1 banana
4 stalks of celery,
chopped
8 leaves of kale, destemmed
1 head baby bok choy, (just the leaves; saving the stalks for soup)
1 handful goji berries, soaked
1 tablespoon artisana
tahini, (I used the black sesame tahini)
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
3 oranges, juiced
1 cup? soak water from goji berries
Preparation:
Blend ‘er up! This turned out a very deep, almost olive green color, probably because of the black sesame tahini. Sorry for the crummy picture… I’m still learning how to use my camera! :o)
