Green Giant
Smooth, creamy, mildly sweet flavor full of everything healthy. The combination of ingredients leaves the drink striated with white and purple. I took the picture after a sip so there’s a bit on the glass. The draw back, as my little ones say, it’s just SO green.
1½ cup Coconut Water (just use the water from one young coconut), Rich in potassium, electrolytes,chloride, riboflavin, magnesium, thiamin, manganese, calcium, potassium, phosphorous and the list goes on. Low in calories and sugar
4 cup Spinach Leaves, Vitamin a, c, e, k, magnesium, several antioxidants, folic acid and SO MUCH MORE, a true super food
1 cup Kale devained, Beta kerotene, vitamin a, , k, c, leutinzeaxanthin and reasonably rich in calcium

Bananna, Vitamin C, potassium, manganese and vitamin b6
½ cup Blueberries, contain anthocyanins, other antioxidant pigments and other phytochemicals,proanthocyanidins, flavonols and tannins, high in manganese as well as vitamin K and have a low glycemic load
1 teaspoon

1. Place coconut water in blender, add all the ingredients and blend until completely smooth.
(FYI, I add a bit of agave to my little ones to kick the sweetness up just a bit, just about a teaspooon in their cup.)

i think a better alternative to spinach that would not rob this "green giant" of it's super-antioxidant qualities would either be broccoli or cabbage: chock full of nutrients minus the harmful oxalic acids

LMAO yes, therawdance, when I drink these daily, my g.i. definitely gets a good bucking laugh out of it.

NOW THAT IS ONE POWERHOUSE DRINK AND A MAJOR DETOX IN A CUP. I have never mixed all of these things at once, only some together. This one must really make the gi tract question "what the buck" love it

Oooh, I never thought of ginger, but that would definitely put some pizazz in there! Great idea!

I added a small knob of ginger and it was so good. Wonderful and filling for one person.
