I made this smoothie this morning for breakfast and it was rather interesting. I would definitely try it again. Let me know what you think!
1 frozen banana
½ pear (I used Bosc)
½ tablespoon raw mesquite powder
ice (handful or two)
water (to desired consistency)
one packet of Stevia (optional)
Put all ingredients in a blender. Add more water if desired. Enjoy!
This was pretty good. I fortified it a little bit with some kefir grains and spinach. You can´t really taste the mesquite that much. I think next time I´d try to put more in.
