This smoothie tastes amazing! I love this recipe because it is very simple to make and doesn't require a lot of ingredients like some other green smoothie recipes I've seen.

Ingredients:

- 1 Cup Coconut Water
- 1 Mango
- 1 Cup Kale

Preparation:

Blend and Enjoy!

I searched my local supermarket for coconut water, but they only have coconut milk. So I put in one T. of coconut milk instead.

This morning I made this smoothie and added one frozen banana and 1 T. of ground flax seed. It was just as delicious and sweet as the junk I used to get from the Dairy Queen Drive thru!

Thanks for the recipe!

4. Coconut water is the liquid

Coconut water is the liquid from young coconuts. I am with Whole Foods Market and we sell several different brands. It is not the same as coconut milk. Many people are now drinking coconut water as a sports drink because it is high in potassium and minerals, very low in calories and sugar.

This was my first attempt at a green smoothie. I don't think my mango was ripe enough so I added a little agave. I liked it, but some of my co-workers were scared! LOL. I think a bit of pineapple would have tasted yummy too. I'll be making more of these!
