Bright red, sweet, sour and chewy! A great addition to salads, cookies, or for garnish!
Ingredients:
pint (s) Fresh Cranberries, sliced in half
tablespoon s sweetener like raw agave
Preparation:
Place sliced berries in bowl and toss with sweetener. Place on teflex sheets in single layer and dehydrate betwenn 105 to 115 until sweetener has dried up quite a bit (aprox 12 hours) Remove the teflex and place on the mesh for another 12 hours
or until They don’t stick together (or to you!!) anymore. “Unstick” them from each other a couple of times during the process (damp hands help to keep them from sticking)
They will not be sticky when done. The berries should be soft, not crunchy. They will harden up a bit more as they cool off, so don’t overdry
them.
I love these!

Thanks for the recipe - my first batch is finished. I've been snacking on them throughout the day. Any ideas of how to use them in recipes? I have a hunch they'd be wonderful in a salad.

Hi Kandace, I usually have my unit set between 105 and 115

This looks great - and I just received a package of fresh cranberries. What temperature do you put your dehydrator on for this recipe?
