Ingredients
half a cup dried wakame or 1 cup soaked
a squeeze of lime or lemon juice
1 apple or
half a green bellpepper or both
half a small red onion
a drizzle cold press olive oil (opional)
Recipe Directions
slice the red onion very thinly and slice the apple regular ,you can cube or slice the bell pepper.the saltiness of the wakame flavors everything toss all ingredients together

I just ordered some wakame. It should be here any day. It has so many healthy attributes and I use it a lot. This recipe is one way I'm going to use...SOON! I will likely substitute a red pepper for the green. It's nice to see a seaweed recipe here. A+

wakame is one of my personal favorites and is very different from dulse so it would alter the flavor quite a bit. I'd imagine it would still taste really good though just have fun.

could I substitute dulse flakes for the dried wakame....how much? Would it alter the taste of the recipe significantly?
