Recipe Directions

Soak pignoli/pine nuts overnight (8-10 hours). Rinse and dry slighty with paper towel.

Add all the ingredients in a blender (I have a vitamix), with partial amounts of garlic, salt, water, lemon juice as you want to add these to taste and to consistency. USE LEMON JUICE SPARINGLY SO IT WON’T BE TOO OVERVEARING!!! The amounts indicated as measurements are rough with the exception of the pine nuts. Add more as you reached the flavor and consistency that suites you. If you are using a less powerful blender or a magic bullet, I would add ingredients gradually, remove into another container until all of it is blended well and mix together.

Please keep in mind the size of the clove in determining how many you’ll use. In my recipe mine were large; I like a strong garlic taste.

I hope you enjoy this as I did. If you like pesto or garlic it’s absolutely divine. Mixes well in a salad and tastes great as a dip!

Delicious! It was very delicious. Then, I added avocado to make it creamier. Yumm.

Would it still be as good without the nutritional yeast?
