Creamy Cherry Delight
Servings:
This recipe makes about 3-4 servings or 2-3 tall servings!

This recipe is from my recently published eBook, “Raw-Riffic Food’s 101 Super-Charged Juices, Shakes & Smoothies”. I love this recipe because, although it’s a “green smoothie” it comes across as a refreshing and creamy cherry smoothie – very yummy and delish! I hope you enjoy it! Check out my profile for more info on my book, or visit my site, Raw-Riffic Food.

Enjoy! :)

Ingredients:

1 organic bosch pear, skin peeled, seeded, chopped
1 organic red delicious or gala apple, skin peeled, cored, chopped
2 small organic bananas, skin peeled, chopped
2 cup organic frozen or fresh dark cherries, pitted, stemmed
1 cup raw nut mylk (almond or brazil nut)
2 handfuls of organic baby spinach, leaves washed
1 dropper full peppermint flavored liquid stevia
purified water and ice, (enough to cover ingredients)

Preparation:

Place all the ingredients (except ice) in a blender, and blend on high. Mix very well, adding the ice a little at a time. Once cold and blended, serve it up! You can garnish with cherries, or even a sprig of mint. I hope you like it.

My notes: I recommend using frozen organic cherries, and almond nut mylk. It really kicks it up a noch in flavor and consistency. Also, of course, I recommend the SweetLeaf brand of liquid flavored stevia.

Peace! :)
