Recipe Directions

1. Blend first 6 items until it's whipped and fluffy like pudding. Taste and adjust seasonings. Remove pudding from blender.

2. Mix your chopped nuts with the salt and figs (I had fresh ones but I guess dried soaked ones would do or dates) and blend.

3. Make a nice batter scraping the sides so the left over chocolate pudding is incorporated into the crust mix.

4. Press this into a pie plate and fill with pudding.

5. Place in freezer for an hour or so.

MMmm this sounds good. I love the fluffy feel the avo gives to these chocolate pudding/pie recipes!

I haven't tried chocolate avocado yet but if you and your guests say it's good I want to try it! For some reason it seems like this needs some lime or orange zest to it and maybe some fresh grated nutmeg. A little citrus juice might make it oxidize less if you were going to make it ahead of time as well. This would be fun in a muffin tin too so the guests could pick the topping they like- like cherries, coconut, or extra strawberries.
