Choco-Spirulina Ice Cream
A sweet treat to beat the summer heat! ;-)
1 cup young coconut pulp, frozen
2 bananas, frozen
¼ cup carob powder (or cacao powder)
¼ cup spirulina powder
seeds of 1 vanilla bean
dash sea salt
Put everything in your food processor and mix until completely smooth. It will be the consistency of soft serve.
The choco-spirulina combo is surprisingly delicious, but if you’re not too crazy about spirulina, you might want to start with less and work your way up.
Dates are to taste- you could also use agave, maple syrup, lucama powder, stevia, etc.
