I made this with some slight alterations.
I used coconut nectar instead of tamari. I also accidentally used unsweetened almond milk instead of coconut (which probably made a big difference) and skipped the salt and pepper as I didn't see a need.
I added a squeeze of lemon juice to cut the flavor of the asp and the garlic. When I first took the lid off the vitamix the smell of garlic was overpowering but adding lemon juice and a some water cut the flavor nicely and thinned the soup to my liking (so I am not sure if I just needed to blend more or if it was the lemon and water but the garlic amount turned out fine).
Also, I don't think coconut flour is raw (since flour by nature is processed) but I'm rawish and I had some so I used it. In retrospect however I wish I had used avocado in its place along with the coconut milk and water. The flour added thickness but also made it a little too thick for me and I felt a little less healthy eating flour.
I topped it with a little avo for some fun. Wished I had cayenne for that pretty garnish! All in all, a nice recipe.
