chai yum yum
yum yum yum warm or cool… for tea parties that all will enjoy!
Ingredients:
5 cup water
3 bag organic chai tea
½ cup hemp seeds,
shelled
2 tablespoon coconut oil
agave
spices
Preparation:
Boil water. Let cool.
Soak teabags in warm water.
Take tea and put in blender with hemp seeds.
Blend together for a minute—until the seeds have turned into a seed milk.
Add coconut oil.
Add agave and chai spices to taste. I like mine sweet so I added probably 4 tablespoons.
This is so delicious warm and also wonderful as an iced chai. I’ve been making it huge pitchers at a time and keeping in in the fridge for a yummy drink. The coconut oil makes it really creamy.
Enjoy!

Ps. Tea parties (and picnics) are the best. I love cute little tea cups. Any pictures of your recipe: tea and cup?

Wow, now that is SERIOUSLY one POWER tea with a whole lot of hemp!!! How many servings did you get out of this??? I don't like the taste of chai but my Mom does, I think I will make this for her sometime. It seems like it would be divine with a scoop of vanilla-cashew-cream on top!!! Fall will be here soon and drinks like this are perfect and comforting at that time of year.Thank you for your offering : )
