Servings:
My batch made 10, depends on the size of your veggies.I fancied a satisfying low fat meal and this is what I came up with.
Ingredients:
1 head medium sized broccoli
1 carrot
2 clove garlic
1 inch of
ginger
1 tablespoon kelp
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lucuma
2 tablespoon sesame seeds, ground
1 tablespoon cumin
Preparation:
I processed broccoli, carrot, garlic and ginger in blender, added the rest of the stuff and formed little patties. I dehydrated them for 4 hours, so they are drier on the outside, but still somewhat moist on the inside. They are so easy to make, are pretty affordable and versatile.

Just the calcuim punch I need. I'm going to try these.

i have these in the dehydrator right now - they didnt hold togethder so well for me - and mine are MUCH greener than the pictures. I had to use ground sunflower seeds rather than the lucuma, because i could not find that. I still think they taste really good - they just dont stick together as small patties. I also have the "brown bread" in the dehydrator - so im interested to try them together.

This sounds great & healthy! I can't get Lucuma either, so i'll just add more sunflower or maybe some sesame seeds or flax seeds. I will try this this weekend.... i have some leftover cauliflower so i'm thinking about mixing 1/2 cauliflower and 1/2 broccoli... we'll see :) Thanks for posting this! This would go really well with a honey mustard dressing!!!!

This looks so good and I have all the ingredients on hand except for lucuma. Can anyone suggest a substitute? Thanks!

JoyceH,
Also, I tried it also with flax seeds, but I ate them without dehydrating as flax oxidizes so fast...

Zoe,
I got that brocolli in the UK :).
JoyceH,
I am sure it would work without Lucuma. Maybe if it does not stick together, add a little more sesame seeds. I add lucuma in everything now, cause I like it a bit too much these days :)
Anmanoel,
I actually ate them with hummus.

wow, so nice looking... that is some crazy broccoli! ;) did you eat these with some sort of sauce?

This looks great! I love a nice light recipe! Although I wonder if I can use a substitute for the lucuma. I love the idea of a veggie based burger w/o nuts!
Could you grind up flax seeds in place of the lucuma I wonder?

Oh goodness, so that is what purple broccoli is supposed to look like...you should see the dull grey crap we are sold here in the UK, sigh ;(
snoopy99 - lucuma is a superfood you can only get it online usually, it is slightly sweet and bright yellow. It is a powder.

This is going in my recipe box. It looks like a great alternative to the high fat burgers elsewhere. Thanks!

These look simple and lovely. I feel like I have been eating way too many nuts and fruit lately and I am craving some nourishing veggies. Thanks for this! At what temp did you dehydrate them?
