breakfast of champions
I eat this breakfast nearly every morning. It can be changed up, but it is just the thing to get me going. An apple is a wonderful way to get your digestive system going, the raisins are wonderful sources of iron, and the nuts give me the protein boost I need until lunch.
1 organic apple, washed and diced, skin left on
1/2 c organic raw raisins
1/4 cup diced raw almonds, walnuts, and cashews (you chose the combination)
2 tsp flax seeds
2 Tbs raw dried coconut
1/4 - 1/2 c raw nut milk
other dried fruits like cranberries and apricots
diced fresh strawberries
raw cacao bits
toss all ingredients together in a large cereal bowl. pour nut milk on top. enjoy!
