Another member posted a similar recipe adapted by Matt Amsden, but I thought I would post the original recipe since it is so simple, and for all you “newbies” it tastes better than any store bought breakfast bars.
2 cup almonds, grind in food processor
1 cup walnuts, grind in food processor
¾ cup flax seed, grind in coffee grinder
2 cup fresh strawberries, puree in food processor
1 cup raisins
Follow preparation directions and then just mix together in a bowl. (I use strawberries cause I like them best but you can use any fresh berries you like.) Put batter on teflex sheet about 1/2 inch thick. Dehydrate 12 hrs at 100f, then flip and dehydrate 12 more hours. When you flip, you may want to slice into bars so they’re easier to separate when they are done.
