Blueberry Jam

I saw the recipe for Pop Tarts that called for raw jam. I had never thought of making raw jam before, so I started playing. Yummy!
Ingredients:
2 cup blueberries
½ cup raw agave nectar
Preparation:
Put blueberries and agave nectar in blender and blend well. Pour onto a Teflex sheet & dehydrate at 105 degrees, stirring once in a while, for a couple of hours or until it is the consistency you want. Use it on your favorite raw bread, in the Pop Tarts recipe, or any way you want!

I just tried to make a mixed berry pie filling for my Mom's birthday last week, but I left it in the dehydrator too long (I totally forgot I was making it!) and it turned out more like jam. She loved it and took it to a family party on Sunday. Even though they knew it was healthy, everyone liked it. :)

Blueberries make a great gel for this. I would never have thought to dehydrate the jam. Thanks for the recipe!
