1-2This is inspired by FreeFoods NYC beelicious smoothie. I forgot what they put in but i improvised. I'm not too proud of the food combining, but hey-you gotta live a little. The color just reminded me of one of my favorite very SAD snacks...
Ingredients:
1 banana
2-3 Tbsp peanut butter
1 T honey
1-2 Tbsp bee
pollen
1 cup almond milk or water
optional 1-2 Tbsp hemp seeds
optional pinch of vanilla powder
Preparation:
blend together until smooth. you may want to let the bee pollen soak for a few minutes before blending. enjoy!! and if you leave it for a few hours in the fridge, it gets very thick. yum.

Almost looks like a milkshake, one of my guilty SAD pleasures too. Have you tried mixing it up with other ingredients? I like wheatgrass powder in my smoothies / blended drinks. (This stuff is awesome http://www.sweetwheat.com/store/wheatgrass-juice/sweet-wheat-lar...) but it might be perfect as is. :-)
