This is the easiest and prettiest raw dessert I’ve made so far, and I love it! This would be a fun one for kids to make and eat! I sprinkled some crushed walnuts and added a mint leaf, but the possibilities are endless! Enjoy!

This looks sooo yummy!, easy and elegant. An alternative method for forming the tarts is placing the nut/date ball between two pieces of clear wrap or parchment paper. Then use a rolling pin or one's palm to flatten. Also, if one gets creative, place the flatten nut/date ball, with the bottom piece of clear wrap/parchment paper into a tart mold or cup and press into sides. The clear wrap/parchment paper keeps it from sticking to the cutting board or mold and is easy to remove. I just love playing with food. :)

mmmm. can't believe how good this was. I had no almonds, so I used walnuts and pecans instead. When it came out of the freezer I filled it with strawberries, drizzled the agave and sprinkled a little raw vanilla on top as well. The best desert I ate. Can't wait to make it for my non-raw family!!!
