Recipe Directions

1. Grate the carrot and the beet, dice the onion.

2. Blend everything in your food processor (scrape the sides off every now and then) until you get a sort of paste.

3. Spread evenly onto 2 Teflex sheets and dehydrate at 110° Fahrenheit for 8 to 9 hours

Great when topped with almond fermented yogurt and veggies!

Beet, thyme and sesame together: my very first own cracker recipe that rocks!

Hope you like it too!

This bread is crisp but not crumbly and has a very nice flavor and a great slightly pink color.

I think I will use carrot and beet pulp from juicing. How much would you recommend? One cup...2 cups??? Recipe sounds good. I'm anxious to make it. I have misplaced my old standby buckwheat/veggie cracker recipe that I alway make so I'm happy to see this. I don't really like crackers with a lot of flax seeds and so many recipes call for 2 cups or more. Thanks!

Your soaked flax seed should create a gel that will hold things together, but adding some fresh juice back into it will give it back some needed flavor. Does tahini dehydrate well? I've never thought about trying tahini before.

I will try this with pulp from juicing, perhaps add small amount of tahini (eg 1/4 cup)to help bind after all thats all the sesame seeds(eg change to 1/2 cup) are.

Well I don't know for the pulp, maybe 1 cup each but I think you would have to add some liquid so that everything sticks together... Tell me how it turned out anyway!
