Servings:
1 nice-sized shake Nothing too unique…just really yummy!
Ingredients:
1 handful of walnuts
2 tablespoon hemp seeds (optional)
1 cup water
1 banana, can be frozen but not necessary
1 juicy date (you know what I mean...a real date)
2 drop vanilla (alcohol free is best)
maple syrup (optional, not raw)
TO MAKE INTO A GREEN SMOOTHIE:
ADD A HANDFUL OR 2 OF SPINACH, ...adds no flavor but makes it GREEN and healthy!
Preparation:
Blend! Drink!

I just love this recipe. I haven't used the hemp seeds or spinach, but I used all the other ingredients. I substituted maple syrup with raw honey. The colder it is, the better - it tasts like a read milk shake. I recommend blending the walnuts and water first, then straining it with a nut milk bag. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend.

Sounds great. You can use Yacon syrup in place of the maple syrup....and a real vanilla bean. I will try this today!!!

Sounds unique to me! I bet the walnuts and hemp seeds add great flavor to this..especially complimented with maple syrup! yum! I'll be trying this one!
