Banana Cinnamon Milkshake
I'm drinking this right now for breakfast, and its amazingly creamy flavour is really really delicious! There is a bit of forethought involved in this recipe, but then again, that's part of being raw! And all you really have to do is remember to put a peeled banana in the freezer a few hours before you want to enjoy this milkshake! I think this would also be amazing churned through an ice cream maker, the frozen banana and rich almond milk make a base very similar to the custard one would use in a SAD ice cream recipe. You could also add a bit of cacao powder for a chocolate banana shake, or almond butter or tahini even for added richness. This recipe is super satisfying, and cures junk food cravings too because it tastes so yummy : )
1 frozen banana, broken up into a few pieces
1 cup almond milk (whatever recipe you like best, for this milkshake a lower ratio of water to almonds will result in a creamier
consistency)
1 tablespoon agave syrup (although depending on the ripeness of your banana, it may not be necessary)
pinch of cinnamon
Whizz in a blender and drink up : )

You don't even need to freeze your bananas for your smoothies. In case you don't have frozen on hand. I only use my frozen bananas as back up when I am out of fresh bananas.
