Servings:
Serves 2I came up with this one after seeing the other one on here, but couldn’t remember what was in it so I just went to the store and got all the green items I could find that I thought would taste good together and this was the result. You can barely taste the spirulina either. Even my un-raw room mates ADORE this drink and it’s gonna be a feature in our next cocktail party!
Ingredients:
1 Banana
1 cup Spinach
1 cup Green Seedless Grapes
½
Cucumber
1 tablespoon Spirulina
Preparation:
Place all ingredients in blender.
Blend.
Enjoy!

This is great! I did the celery too, instead of the cucumber, since I didn't have that. I also used organic rainbow chard instead of spinach.
Hey--especially if you have a vita mix, please use organic grapes WITH SEEDS! You ever hear about "grape seed extract", sold as an expensive supplement? The seeds are actually the most nutritious part of the grape, and they blend well when using a powerful blender like the vita mix. Try it!

I've had real fun with this one. I didn't have cucumber so I used celery. That was very good. On other days I substituted other greens. Then today I didn't have a banana, so my smoothie was:
- 1 whole head of baby bok choy (providing both greens and the cuke/celery substitute via the white stems)
- 1 pear
- handful of red grapes.
Okay, so it's not your recipe, but I was inspired by your recipe, and it's really delicious.
