I haven’t had something that tasted like this in a long time…legitimate Fajita Filling!

Thanks, Chris Carlton, for the Grilled Meat recipe! It is AMAZING.

Ingredients:

1 Large Green Bell Pepper, Julienned
1 Medium Onion, Julienned
1 cup "Grilled Meat" from this site
3 tablespoon Olive Oil
2 tablespoon Taco Seasoning (combination of chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt)
¼ cup Fresh Orange Juice

Preparation:

Soak the sliced onions in filtered water for about 15 minutes. This step helps to remove the RAW onion flavor.
Strain off the water, rinse the onions and then add the peppers and mushroom meat. Whisk together the OJ, oil, and taco seasoning. Stir well to cover everything in the oil. Place the fajita mix in the dehydrator at 115 for about 1.5 hours, or until everything softens up a little. It should seem like it was sauteed! So freaking yummy!

Enjoy this with fresh salsa and guacamole on raw corn tortillas, lettuce or collards.
