i make it in bulk.. always ;) for my hungry friends
This is a great bar for lunch at work, after the gym, to qwell hunger.. really great combo of goodies.. I call it Original Nuttah as i have no other cool name for them. I got the term from a UK Drum n Bass track called Original Nuttah meaning original bad ass (typically i found the term for boasting) hince awesome nut bar.. I hope you have a mixing machine.. if not your hands will be tired.
6 cup Kamut, Sprouted
1 Banana, break in four
3 Dates, Soaked
2 cup Pecan, Soaked and chopped
3 tablespoon Agave Necter, (To pour in food
processor)
1 cup Blueberries, as is
2½ cup Sunflower Seeds, Soaked
1½ cup Golden and Brown Flax Seeds, Soaked and Slimey!
2½ cup Pumpkin Seeds, Soaked
1 cup Sesame Seeds, Soaked
ill make this as easy as possible
Food process:
Kamut, Banana, Dates, Blueberries, Agave Nectar.
Pour into a mixer and let it mix for at least 5 minutes.
Then add: 1 1/2 pumpkin seeds, 1 1/2 sunflower, 2 cups of chopped pecan, 1 cup of flax seeds.
Then let it mix for a good 5-10 minutes..
pour entire contents into a square or rectangle shape on large wax paper and place wax paper on top as well. ROLL the bars even with a roller.
Remove the top wax carefully and then sprinkle the remaining flax, sunflower, Pumpkin seeds and sprinkle the cup of sesame seeds all over as well.. blanket the top with these goodies and try not to leave gaps.. (flax is harder) but do your best. (if you need to soak more to cover spots then do it)
Place the wax and contents in the freezer for 1 hour.
Next – grab a bowl and and pour some agave necter in it and get a brush.
Pull out the contents from the freezer, throw away the top wax paper and coat a layer of agave necter on top with the brush.. gives em a glaze look.
then place it back in the freezer for at least 15-20 minutes..
then take it out and cut them into bars with a pizza cutter and place in dehydrator for 11-12 hours.. it took three of my shelves since i dont like stuffing the shelves with too much.. (Magic Aire II is what i use)
then BAM.. you have a bulk amount of DELICIOUS BARS.. everyone that has tried them.. raw, vegan, omni, undead, junglist love em!
