Excellent with nut milk, or as-is as a snack.
2 cup chopped walnuts, soaked & dried
1 cup apple, finely chopped
¾ cup raisins, soaked for about an hour
3 tablespoon cinnamon
3 tablespoon raw honey, maple syrup, or raw agave
Chop walnuts into small pieces, drain raisins. Mix all ingredients. Amounts are approximate, use enough sweetener just to moisten and make everything stick. I like to dehydrate this mixture until slightly crispy, maybe an hour or two.
My son loves it as a cereal with pumpkin seed milk. I love it straight from the dehydrator!
